New Secretary Appointed To Cabinet


A new Secretary to the cabinet has been appointed with effect from January 6, 2020, in the person of Ms. RuthElizabeth Rouse.

Ms. Rouse has a long and distinguished Public Service Career having recently served as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Legal Affairs and since joining the Grenada Public Service in 1982, has served in various capacities including the Foreign Service.

The incoming Secretary to the Cabinet will bring a wealth of professional experience to the position and it is anticipated that she will provide sound technical advice to the Cabinet.

She has committed to improve the level of efficiency and productivity within the Public Service. The Office of the Prime Minister welcomes Ms. Rouse and wishes her all the best in her new position.

Ms. Rouse replaces Mrs. Beryl Isaac who last served in the position.
