Media Worker Charged For Hosting House Party

Grenada Informer has been reliably informed that police have arrested and charged Akisha Felix also known as “Pineapple Kish”, reporter at the Grenada Broadcasting Network for hosting a house party on Wednesday night.

MTV understands that the media worker was celebrating her birthday and chose to throw a party at her home.  Further compounding the infraction, the media worker went LIVE on one of the social media platforms.

The event was in contradiction to the regulations now implemented against social and public gatherings.

The media worker was charged under section 9A of the Grenada statues rules of 2020 for conducting a party outside of the immediate family.

The statues state that “no person shall host or attend a party outside of the immediate family. “

The charge also carries a fine of $1000 and or imprisonment for 1 – 12 months.

Informer was also informed that the reporter received bail late Thursday afternoon.
