Brothers charged with 2012 murder of 72-year-old British pensioner

Siblings Ronald and Jamel Fletcher have been charged with the murder of an elderly gentleman over 8 years ago in a case that local police ensured did not go cold over time. 

According to well placed sources, the two young men, residents of Non-Pariel in St Mark were officially charged on Saturday and are expected o make their first court appearance on Tuesday at the Victoria Magistrate’s Court.

The lifeless body of Emilio Nelson, who also resided in Non Pariel at the time, was found close to his wrecked vehicle some three hundred meters from his home. His house had also been set on fire allegedly by his attackers.

Police investigations revealed that Nelson, who was last seen alive in one of the village shops buying chicken the night before, was beaten to death by his attackers
